Build classrooms where thinking is visible

We’re a non-profit education start-up working to make deep, rigorous problem-solving part of everyday classroom learning.

Through mathematical challenges, teacher fellowships, and school partnerships, we help students think independently, communicate their reasoning, and build confidence in tackling unfamiliar problems.

We’re in a phase of thoughtful expansion-deepening classroom implementation, strengthening our programs, and building systems that allow quality to scale without dilution.

What we’re building

We’re building a team and organisation that stays close to classrooms while tackling meaningful questions in pedagogy, assessment, and scale. We want to create strong systems, deepen practice, and build models that can grow while preserving the quality of student and teacher experience.

How we’re working

We value clarity, precision, intellectual honesty, and real ownership. We work in a small team where roles are broad, feedback is valued, and decisions are grounded in evidence. As we grow, we expect people to take responsibility, communicate clearly, and continuously improve.

Who will thrive here

You may thrive at PSL if you care about mathematics and learner confidence, enjoy open-ended problems, and are comfortable with ambiguity. We value people who communicate clearly, respect teachers and public education systems, take ownership, and stay curious.

Our Hiring Approach

Our hiring process mirrors the way we work—with clear, well-defined problem statements, meaningful opportunities to demonstrate your thinking and approach, transparent timelines and expectations, and genuine respect for your time. We welcome candidates to use tools, including AI, as part of their process while remaining fully accountable for the ideas, reasoning, and decisions they present.
